How are start and end dates decided?

End date = start date + the plan's duration in days.

From today starts the membership on the day you approve it.

From payment date honours the date the member said they paid — use this when approval is delayed.

Custom date lets you back- or post-date the membership, and is restricted by permission.

If the member already has an active membership at this business, the new one starts the day after the current one ends, so renewals never overlap.

MembrBase checks hourly and marks a membership Expired once its end date passes. Nothing is deleted — expired members stay in your list and can renew.
